A tough, physical runner in North Georgia still flying under the radar, Chancey is a powerful back who can pick up tough yards in the trenches. A good athlete and a multi-sport standout in the small town of Ellijay, Chancey is a two-way player who also shines at linebacker in addition to his role as a running back. He runs hard, can power through defenders, and breaks tackles with ease. He’s one of the toughest backs to tackle in the region and is coming off an impactful junior season where he lit up the stat sheet with 1,068 yards and 19 touchdowns, averaging 6.6 yards per rush and 97 yards per carry. He’s bound for an even bigger senior season and will be added to the next 2027 Prep Redzone rankings.

A tough, physical two-way player from North Georgia having a really strong junior season, Chancey is a run-stopping linebacker on defense who has really shined on the ground this season. He runs hard between the tackles and has no problem bowling over defenders. He’s tough to bring down by one single defender and he runs hard behind his pads, leading to yards after first contact. He’s run for 779 yards so far this season with 13 touchdowns. He’s rushed for at least 100 yards three times and has scored a touchdown in every game but one. He’s one of the toughest backs to tackle in the region and he should be one of the leading rushers in the area at the end of the regular season.
