The freshman RB hasn’t fully peaked with his athleticism yet, and that is scary for defenders because on Sunday the freshman RB proved to be very hard to cover. Peyton caught my eyes over and over with his naturally soft hands as a receiver. The freshman was able to get open consistently and early in the route. On top of all the won reps, Peyton posted a 7.38 L-Drill and a 5.03 40. I’ll be keeping an eye on the freshman RB.

Briley was MVP of the RB group and had a good showing. Performed well during individual drills and was a headache versus the linebackers. Gained ground quickly, caught the ball well, and his change of direction was a strength. With Peyton’s height, size and tangibles, he will be a productive back in high school.

RB MVP Peyton looked and acted the part right out the gate. He has a great build for the position and really excelled during competition. During individual drills, Peyton led the pack in footwork, and displayed comfortability in the passing game. Once matched up with the linebackers, he continued to win reps and showcase being the leader out the bunch.

Briley is all purpose back that is skilled in all phases of being a complete running back. Deliberate cuts to get upfield, breaking against the grain, or spinning out of traffic all come with this package. I like his balance and ability to be a receiving option.
