Owolabi was new to the North Carolina area in 2025 and did not disappoint, having a great year as a senior. A smart player, he can both one-gap and two-gap and that intelligence extends beyond the gridiron to the classroom. He’s a Dartmouth commit and has great leadership qualities. I was told when he transferred in that he’d be good and that turned out to be accurate, so we’re bumping him up as we didn’t initially rank him high enough.

Owolabi has been a little under the radar, making a move from Mt. Zion Prep to The Asheville School this offseason, but Owolabi took advantage of one of his first offers, and that was from Dartmouth. Not committed to Dartmouth Owolabi looks to expand on some quality junior tape which you see quickness on the interior and strong physical hands at the point of attack.

Owolabi isn’t a household name (partially because he transferred in this offseason from out of state) but he’s sculpted his body well and knows how to use it. He gets off the ball well and has the physical tools to excel both as a pass rusher and run stopper. After a strong offseason, he looks poised to take the next step as a pass rusher. As he adds moves to his pass rushing arsenal, he has the potential to be one of the top interior linemen in the state.
