Wow. This was an interesting game and QB showdown I had going into the week between two defending state champions, and it didn’t disappoint. It came down to the wire with Newman pulling away, with Martinez making plays with both his legs and arm talent. He’s still a sleeper in the 2028 class despite being a consistent producer. No matter the size of the stage, he’s a playmaker.
