Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
Massive fan of this kid. Well-built 6’2 180 with room to get bigger. Baseball background, and it shows on tape with his ability to work off-platform and on the move. Kid can drive the ball effortlessly, knifing it through space and quickly getting it on open receivers. Good athlete with long strides in space. Incredibly underrated.

A sleeper quarterback with enough talent to play somewhere at the next level, Shaw’s number may not be jaw-dropping with just over 1,500 yards and 17 touchdowns, but his talent, mobility, and above-average arm strength was on full display this fall. He can make plays with his legs and can throw the ball 50+ yards down the field. The uncommitted senior deserves recognition and is now ranked by Prep Redzone in the winter update. He’s now ranked as the No. 49 QB prospect in Georgia for the 2026 class.

The 6’2 Senior has had an outstanding season running the offense. The 3-yr starter has led Eastside to the playoffs every year and has notched a playoff win in each of the last 2 years. He completed 112 of 170 attempts this year for 1466 yards with 16 TDs to 5 INTs. A quick decision maker that has a confident presence in the pocket and can make all the throws. He shows good arm strength and can beat the defense over the top with the deep ball.

A metro-Atlants quarterback on the rise in Covington, Shaw is a big-time passer still flying under the radar as a senior. He shows above-average arm strength and does a good job of putting air under the ball to allow his receivers to run under it down the field. He shows good command and poise in the pocket and knows how to push the ball vertically. He had a giant game in week two, leading Eastside to a big 41-0 win over Hiram where he threw for 276 yards and five touchdowns. He’s a quarterback on the rise with a chance to have a massive final season if he continues to improve week after week. He’s another 2026 passer who will be added to the next Prep Redzone rankings this winter.
