At 6-foot-0 175-pounds, Mahoney led his team in receiving last year, catching 29 passes for 519 yards and six touchdowns in 11 games. He can stretch the field and make a leaping catch in traffic, while also showing he can be a threat in the short passing game due to his elusiveness after the catch. His stock is rising, and his recruitment could pick up in a big way with a giant junior season in 2026.

Mahoney, now listed at 6’1 170, went for 7-173-1 in a win over Arabia Mountain. Mahoney is long, lanky, and still growing into himself. He is growing into his stride as well, but there is even more potential for speed here. He is long, flexible, and can bend at the waist. Many of his highlight reel plays come after the catch. He puts his foot in the ground, gets north, and drives his feet to tack on as many yards as possible. As he gets bigger and adds more play strength, that part of his game will elevate even more.
