A senior from Atlanta who has been extremely impressive to start his 2025 season, Lanford may not have ideal size or arm talent, but he’s mobile, a good athlete, and knows how to play the position. He’s efficient with the football, can throw on the run, and throws a catchable ball down the field. He brings impressive pocket awareness, can scramble away from defenders, and does a good job of locating his receivers down the field. He’s a big-city quarterback flying under the radar who is playing consistent football to start his final season. He’ll be an easy addition to the next 2026 Prep Redzone rankings and is hoping to lead his Lakeside team to a strong playoff run this winter.
