Nicolas is a steady back who is able to make some good runs once he’s into space against a team’s defense. He works best when getting to the edge of the defense and turning the corner. I like Nicolas’s vision in the open field, and he uses that vision well while playing defense. At linebacker, Nicolas shows some nice anticipatory skills in making a couple of interceptions in reading the quarterback’s eyes. I think we’ll see him continue to make plays on both sides of the ball this upcoming season as well.
