About Neyland

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m an undersized but incredibly explosive ATH who plays fast and quick. I use my top-end speed and quickness to make plays in space, whether I’m carrying the ball, running routes, or closing downhill on defense. I’m a reliable tackler, a natural ball carrier, and versatile enough to line up at multiple skill positions. My game is built on speed, toughness, and playmaking instincts.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

DAWG. I have a relentless, competitive mentality. I’m coachable, disciplined, and always looking for ways to improve. I play with confidence, toughness, and a team-first mindset, and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to help my team win. I stay calm under pressure, push through adversity, and bring energy and effort every time I step on the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Honor roll Honorable mention DB for Divison II A as a Sophmore

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and communication skills by being someone my teammates can rely on whether that’s setting the tone in practice, encouraging others, or holding myself accountable. I’ve learned how to work within a team by putting the group’s goals above my own and staying coachable. Off the field, I’ve built qualities like responsibility and service through helping with youth camps

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Breaking my thumb my sophomore year and having to sit out 2 months. This was incredibly tough for me not being able to help my team and play football with my best friends. This taught me to be more grateful for the game of football and the time i have with it. News to me not a lot of time. Im grateful for the challenge God gave me and glad i have overcame it.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college in the South where I can compete at a high level and have the opportunity to contribute early on the field. Beyond football, I want to be part of a program and community that helps me grow as a person, build lifelong relationships with teammates and coaches, and prepare me for success both on and off the field. I value a supportive culture where hard work, accountability.
