Mays has been a force in the middle of the D-line all season long for Marion Co. and his strong play up front must continue in this 2A title game. He will be tasked with putting a stop to the Milan rushing attack, which is their focal point that drives their offense. Mays may also need to flash his pass rush on occasions too, especially if he and his D-line teammates are able to slow the Milan run game.

The Warriors defense was dominant last Friday in their 35-0 win over East Hamilton with Mays being the major force behind that cause. His play up front was excellent where he brought havoc to the Hurricanes backfield all night long, producing two sacks while making several plays against their running backs. Mays was a tremendous addition to the D-line for Marion Co. as the Warriors have a shot at competing for the 2A title this year. If Mays and his defense continue playing like they did last week, competing in Chattanooga by season’s end becomes more possible.
