Myles had an extremely productive regular season, and now has a deep playoff run in mind. On a weekly basis, Matlock was slicing and dicing defenses both on the ground and threw the air. Myles has some impressive regular season highlights displaying his confidence and strong arm. When he is asked to use his legs, his vision and feel are so good. When he gets the edge, defenders have a tough time catching up, but when they do get a hand on him, he can make the first man miss and keep chugging along. They have a tough region with plenty of tough teams, so this Edison team will heavily lean on Myles to lead them.

Myles has the measurables and raw ability to explode this season. His awareness and pocket presence are second to none. Any pressure that comes his way, he finds a way to evade, scramble and keep his eyes downfield, and hit them rather accurately given the situation. He has a big arm that allows him to push the ball downfield, even when he has to throw off platform, on the run or with pressure coming right up the middle. The mechanics and footwork are coming along, but as an improvisor, there aren’t many in our state doing it better. I am excited to see what Matlock has in store this season! 8
