NC State landed one of the top kickers in the entire country late in May. He’s actually been bumped up to No. 1 nationally by some kicking outlets since we last updated rankings, thanks to his strong leg and kickoff ability. He made three kicks over 40 yards last year, including a 50-yarder, and he has the leg to hit from 55-plus. In my opinion, he’s the best kickoff specialist in the state, so watch for him to compete there early.

Barker took momentum from his excellent junior season into the offseason, racking up a handful of high-academic offers in the last month. A fantastic all-around kicking prospect, he has a huge leg, hitting a 50-yard field goal among his eight makes and putting up one of the best touchback rates in the state.
