If this Nashville area quarterback played on a bigger level, you would be hearing more about Carey and his upside for the college level. Sporting good size and throwing mechanics, the Wildcats senior passer has excellent film, showing the ability to make all the throws while having enough athleticism to play outside the pocket. Carey does a good job of maneuvering the pocket while keeping his eyes down field. He shows a cerebral style of play that I feel translates well along with some grit and toughness. I like this prospect and what he can bring to a college locker room. He will need another big year this Fall to push his recruiting stock forward but Carey has the chops to certainly do so.
