Miles is an athletic defensive lineman with an excellent motor and plays with great pad level and uses that to his advantage. He is light on his feet, has quick hands and has a quick burst to his game. He moves well, has good versatility and is someone that will impact a team at the next level and play on Saturdays.

Miles caught my eye this offseason, not only at the Prep Redzone Showcase in December, but during an offseason training in Ogden. He is a relentless defensive lineman who plays with great pad level and uses his leverage to his advantage. He is quick and moves well athletically, he does a good job of using his hands to get blockers off him. He does well against linemen who outweigh him 40+ lbs. His work ethic and motor are two traits that will find him on a roster next year, he is a joy to watch.

Sydenham is an undersized defensive tackle but showcases good strength and holds up to bigger interior offensive lineman. He should be able to add on 25-30 lbs with relative ease and not hinder his quick movements and closing speed. Sydenham shows good pursuit and is a good interior rusher. If he doesn’t bulk up, he’ll have to transition as an EDGE rusher.

Sydenham is an athletic prospect with flexibility to bend at the LOS.Shows initial quickness to read and react. Strength at the POA to control and ability to shed blocks to find ball carriers in the run game. Burst to get upfield, hand usage to make quick contact and push the pocket as a power rusher to get to the QB. Sydenham has the size and athleticism play the NG position in a 3-4 defensive type scheme at the next level.
