With good burst, if he sees a lane with the ball in his hands he is a threat to house it. On defense, he can play both man or zone. Shows good eyes, able to break on the ball and come up and make the play as well as being a sure tackler.

Overview: Donovan is an athlete who stands out most at defensive back, but makes plays at WR as well. As a cornerback, he thrives in cover 3 where he can keep his eyes on the QB before bodying up receivers at the catch-point. His physicality and size for the position tilts 50/50 balls in his favor. When he breaks on the ball from there and in off-man at safety, Donovan is able to deliver clean hits that jar the ball loose for incompletes. As such, he’s a constant contributor in run support. On offense, Donovan is a versatile player who gets different types of touches out of the slot to produce long runs or yards after the catch. He projects as a free safety who can keep everything in front of him in zone coverage.
