Needs to clean up some decision-making on the move, but the arm talent and production are already college-ready. D1 programs should have him on the radar.

He throws well off-platform and has the athleticism to extend plays with his legs. Gonzalez threw the game-winning Hail Mary touchdown pass with no time remaining in the game.

Gonzalez completed 23 of 31 passes for 287 yards with five touchdowns in South Gate’s 46-14 win over Santa Fe.

He throws really well on the run and even made two great throws while rolling to his left. You can see him going through his progressions and showing patience in the pocket and he’s good at buying time with his legs for his receivers to get open.
