So far in 2026, Mayson has been a gem that not many people are talking about yet. The athletic senior has quarterbacked one of the top teams in 8-man and have a deep playoff run in mind.

Where he does is most damage is on the ground. I love his vision and patience, but his physicality takes some people by surprise. He doesn’t mind taking a hit, and typically he’s the one delivering the hit. Many highlights display his ability to lower the shoulder and win a head-to-head battle. He does possess a big arm as well, and has plenty of examples of him releasing a beauty downfield for chunk plays. On top of all of this, he has a solid leg at the punter position as well, which can be a big weapon in these 8-player divisions as it is typically difficult to flip the field like that.

I think there are a variety of positions that Mayson could fit into at the next level with the right opportunity.
