Banks committed to Old Dominion back on June 22nd, 2025. Hey, it’s early, but if you’re sure….you’re sure. One thing I love about Banks is his ability to extend plays with his legs. Whether he decides to run or pass, Banks puts pressure on the defense to quickly figure out what he’s going to do. His highlights from last year show him making throws all over the field and also making throws to his 2nd and 3rd reads.

The starting QB for Phoebus is a name you want to remember. In two seasons as a starter, he has started 17 games, winning each while posting over 4000 all-purpose yards, 54 TDs, and 7 INTs, while securing 2 State Championships. He has an effortless throwing motion where the ball zips out of his hand on each pass. Phoebus utilizes his deep ball ability on many of his throws where he shows the touch and accuracy needed to place the ball where it needs to be for his WR. He does not shy away from throwing the ball into tight windows to make a big play. He also shows very good athletic ability making him just as dangerous with his feet as he is with his arm. Whether it is evading the rush or a designed run, he displays the speed, agility, and vision needed to extend the play. I believe there is still untapped development in his game we have yet to see.
