Maurice is a high energy DB with a nose for the football. His football IQ, range and elite closing speed makes him liable to jump passing lanes and come up with interceptions or PBUs. He has great anticipation and is so speedy, it’s hard to beat him. He flies around the field and can erase space from sideline to sideline. Whether he is breaking on a ball underneath or running stride for stride down the field, Shemwell stays around the football. He has all of the tools that teams are looking for at the next level, no question.
