As a running back, Patrick has quick feet at the line of scrimmage. That, combined with good vision, allows him to pick his way through the line of scrimmage. Not just a runner, Patrick is a real threat out of the backfield – both as a check-down option and also as a deep threat coming out of the slot. As a deep safety, he has solid ball skills and good athletic ability in coverage. Patrick contributes in all three phases – returning kicks for the Huskers. Patrick advanced to the finals as a sophomore before dropping the title match 7-4.

Masyn was a 2026 athlete that I recall as a standout of my live game eval of the Holdingford Huskers last season, as we spent a lot of time in that great region for small school football. I remember Masyn was all over the field then, and feel he has continued his trend with his excellent versatility he brings to the Huskers offense. He has the mix off sound hands, instinctive as a route runner, and i was impressed with his balance he shows off around the sideline. The 5’11 170 pounder from Holdingford is also a top ranked wrestler in 1A, which shows Masyn’s athleticism to be even more intriguing to me from a position flexibility persoective for college coaches.
