Perez is a very athletic pocket passer that goes through his progressions quickly, while showing that he can deliver the ball accurately downfield in the intermediate game, and has good pocket awareness and escapability. He is seemingly comfortable throwing outbreaking routes across his body, and can also deliver on the run and across the field with some good zip on the ball while able to fit it into tight windows. On his deep ball, he does a nice job at putting some air under it and fitting it in over the top, and does a good job at buying time with his feet and keeping his eyes downfield when being chased from behind. Reyes is one of the top small school signal callers across the SJS, and should have a huge Junior season for Stone Ridge Christian.

Perez enters into our WL rankings in this update, and could crack into our rankings sooner rather than later. He is a very mobile quarterback that can move the pocket and throw on the run across his body, while knowing when to tuck it and take off into the open field and turn into a runner. Under pressure, he can make quick decisions and is not afraid to take a shot in order to deliver it downfield, and also shows quick processing abilities and knows how to beat and throw zone coverage beaters. One of the more experienced and tough 2026 signal callers in the Merced/Central Valley region, he should have a big time ’24 season.
