Marcellis is going to be a steal. 5’11” 190 lbs of runaway freight train. As you can see on tape, Marcells has the wheels to get the edge and run away from the defense when he can really open up. When things get physical Marcellis looks at home. He easily runs through arm tackles, even when a defender was able to square up one on one he was able to fight him off and get into the endzone. The senior RB is a player you have to gang tackle, and if you don’t at least contain him then he is going to make you pay with the second gear he has in the open field. I’m a huge fan of the way this kid carries the ball. He is going to be climbing up our boards. Make sure he is on yours.

It did NOT take many touches for the senior RB to take over the game and put together big numbers for Milwaukee Lutheran. The senior is proving to be one of the more balanced backs in this Class. You see right away on the first carry how he can win with speed to get the corner and also run through arm tackles without losing a step. Marcellis is a back that you have to gang tackle early because once he gets rolling it is hard to step in front of him and slow him down. On top of it you also see the patience and decisiveness when he has the ball in his hands. The senior RB is definitely on the rise for me. Give him a look for yourselves.

Marcellis is a well rounded back that I have needed to get my eyes on more. So does the next level. Marcellis has a strong frame that can be a future feature back. He is strong and runs his feet through contact well. His contact balance prevents him from going down from the first defender. Plenty of his 500 yards on the season in 2024 came after contact. The junior also brings 11.4 100M and 23.1 200 M speed to the field. I’m hoping to see some numbers from his summer camp circuit to further build the picture we have of Marcellis as a football player.
