A versatile player for Loudoun County, Macklin plays WR, CB, and QB for the Vikings. He is a multi-sport athlete who also stars in basketball and lacrosse. His short-area quickness sticks out on film and is a strength of his game. He has solid release into his routes, with good separation quickness at the top of his routes to create a target for his QB. After the catch, he uses his short-area quickness to evade defenders, operating best in space to make defenders miss. Good speed allows him to create positive yards after the catch. Solid prospect who will be a dependable weapon on an offense and should gain interest through his senior season.
