Lukas has been on the radar of Prep Redzone scouts since he was in 8th grade and our Midwest Director of Scouting was writing about him from one of the Minnesota D2 camps last summer. Sunday will be my first live look at the impressive freshman RB/LB. He has registered as an LB and I can’t wait to get the verified testing numbers from his day. At his size, if he can put together a good slate of numbers it will launch him into rarified air early in his career. More importantly, if he can show that he can be fluid through drills and also matchup vs RBs in space 1 on 1 then he will be well on his way towards being a very high level recruit. Sunday is the launching point of what will be a very fun 3 years for Lukas. Get him on your radar today if he isn’t already.

Coaches are going to love what they see from Lukas this summer. The 2029 RB/LB has already been building an elite frame that checks in at 6’1″ 220 lbs. Lukas has been proving he can play with the big dogs since he was an 8th grader. Now a year later with varsity experience under his belt and even more time to develop his game, I have a feeling we are in store for his breakout summer. The athletic testing will go a long way for Lukas as he shows how smooth and natural he is carrying that impressive frame while still maintaining the impressive power loaded into that frame. I’m pumped to watch him show off what he has to offer.

Our RB/LB1 in the inaugural 2029 Rankings kicks us off in this article. As a freshman, the Randolph standout put up 35 carries, 138 yards, 3 TDs, 67 tackles, and 1 TFL. The freshman already possesses a physically imposing 6’1″ 220 lbs frame. When Lukas gets rolling on his path you better bring a buddy to bring him down or get off the tracks because he is a freight train when he carries between the tackles. Lukas already looks the part of a next level recruit. I’m jacked up to see him grow, develop, and produce for three more years.
