Makfinsky isn’t the biggest lineman in the world but he makes up for it with fantastic technique. He can do it all. He can pull, get to the second level, and finishes off his blocks. He knows how to generate power by playing with a low pad level and striking with power. He knows to get his hands on inside and control defenders. He is 6’0 and 250 but still has another year of development if he can add some size his recruitment will skyrocket.

Mafinsky has some of the best technique in the county. He plays with great pad level. In the run game, he does a great job of turning and moving defenders away from the play. He excels in pass protection. He plays with a good base which allows him to move and square up defenders. He also does a good job of getting his hands on defenders before they can get going. Mafinsky is young and will improve and have an even better season.
