The Guillotine ranking 4th 285AArnBender made his second state tournament appearance and took 6th place at 195AA last season. Earlier this season, he won two in-season tournaments to solidify his high ranking. This fall, the two-time state entrant was one of the more physical players in the state. He is a huge linebacker who can overwhelm defenders as a blocking tight end. When he comes downhill from his inside linebacker spot on a run blitz, offensive linemen don’t have a chance if they are not squared up – Bender can blow through touch blocks by even the biggest linemen. While best coming downhill, he has good lateral movement and speed for a linebacker with his size.

Chisago Lakes is still very underrated as a hotbed of college football talent, with a strong strength & conditioning program and some particularly electric and well-built offensive players over the last decade. Now, they are home to a standout defensive prospect with some of the best size of the LB rankings in 6’3, 220 lber. Logan Bender. Popping in at #62 overall and as LB13, Bender possesses college-ready size and knows how to use it, consistently sticking ball carriers in their tracks and driving them backwards or preventing extra yardage after first contact. He can pursue down the LOS, overwhelm blocking attempts with his sheer size, and also lay a mean block himself when he comes in and plays TE. It’s going to be hard to miss this dude on the field the next two seasons.
