Linden has the size and physicality to be a great college football player. His best highlights show big hits and a wide tackle radius. However, he needs to improve as pass rusher and run-stopper in order to be attractive to D2 / D1 colleges. Overall, I’m looking for better explosiveness, better speed, and a few elite pass rush moves. Better IQ in the run game wouldn’t hurt either.
Overall, Linden is a big and powerful high school football player. I love the upside, and he should be able to improve significantly in college.

As long as Linden’s height and weight are accurate, he could easily develop into a highly-touted college prospect. Last season, Linden proved he could make plays as a defensive end. I especially like his explosive getoff and tackle radius. Where Linden should improve is his overall physicality and motor. Neither are bad per se, but against the competition he’ll be facing, he should dominate. This season, I’ll be looking to see more physical, and frankly dominant play from Linden. If he can make that happen, he’ll be in a great position to earn college offers next offseason.
