Lewis Robertson was one of the top performers at linebacker, so he earned a 2nd team all-defense selection. Robertson was consistent throughout the entire showcase. He constantly was one of the best players in all the drills and the one-on-one opportunities as well. Robertson also ran a 4.66 40-yard dash which is excellent for a linebacker. He also showed good coverage skills by locking up running backs in one-on-one drills. Robertson is a legit prospect at linebacker.

First thing you notice about Lewis is he passes the eye ball test. 6’2″ and a well slapped together 200lbs with a frame to easily carry 220+ of good muscle. A high motor LB, Lewis moves well, plays on his toes and quickly closes on the ball. Has loose hips and can play in drop coverage as well as downhill filling the hole and tacking on blockers. An effective blitzer up the middle or from the edge, he takes good angles to the ball and is a strong tackler. Lewis shows great versatility and potential, expect him to be a name next fall.
