Another Outstate lineman with a bright future and already-present size at 6’2, 255 lbs., Leo Duske was in his second year of starting on varsity for the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted line and is also an accomplished wrestler and baseball player going into his junior year of high school. In his 2022 film, you can see Duske maul opponents once he gets ahold of them, using his strength to force them yards downfield or hard into the grass. He’s got a square, solid base, heavy hands, and balanced once he engages with an opponent. I also am a big fan of his defensive highlights as well.

Duske used a low base to fight off a bigger defender. His sound, solid base as center stoned at least three power pass rushes. Then, he showed his agility using good footwork to stay with a pass rusher. He sank his hips low again to anchor down and defend an inside rush. A combination of good feet and upper body strength allowed him to hold off another pass rusher.
