Lane timing as a trigger defender stands out he doesn’t hesitate once he sees run action, and that early read lets him get into the play before it turns into a big gain.
He shows awareness in how he works through traffic. Instead of getting stuck on blocks, he keeps moving his feet and works around bodies to stay involved. Keep in mind lane has two years left to play. Lane impact comes from reps in practice all the way through camps and into the season.
