Landon’s situation is one of the more interesting evaluations because the sample size is limited he only played 5 games before missing the rest of the season due to injury but the early flashes are still important.

In those games, he showed enough to suggest he can be a contributor when fully healthy. There’s clear talent in how he moves and competes, but the biggest question coming out of last year isn’t production it’s durability and consistency over a full season. Right now, he’s more of a projection player than a finished product.

The encouraging part is that injury setbacks often lead to a reset in development. If he’s trending back to full strength, this upcoming season becomes a big opportunity to establish rhythm, build confidence, and prove he can handle a full workload. Williams is a smooth, fluid route runner who makes the game look easy. He possesses the long speed to generate separation on the go-ball and has strong, confident hands to make the difficult catch. Williams is excellent with the ball in his hands and knows how to make defenders miss in space. He has good physicality in his game and has the skills needed to be the go-to guy. A big-play target with elite size and athleticism, Williams brings a large catch radius, tracks the ball well, and flashes speed with elusiveness after the catch. He recorded 33 receptions for 452 yards and 5 touchdowns as a sophomore. This offseason, he secured offers from Memphis, UTEP, UTSA, Texas Tech, and Prairie View A&M.
