His most noticeable trait as a pass rusher is his natural bend—he’s able to dip his shoulder and flatten around offensive tackles, reducing his surface area and slipping past blocks to consistently generate pressure on the quarterback. He shows good timing off the snap and understands how to attack an OT’s outside shoulder to win the corner.

As a stand-up linebacker, he plays with solid awareness and quick diagnosis skills. He can flow sideline to sideline and stay involved in pursuit, but his physicality really shows in run defense. Landon doesn’t shy away from contact—he takes on blocks with leverage, uses his hands to shed linemen, and works to stay square to the ball carrier. He’s effective at setting the edge, forcing runs back inside toward help, and closing down cutback lanes.
