Barnes was thrown into the fire after an injury at QB last year and handled things in stride, helping Creekview steady the ship. Given Creekview’s track record at QB, there is plenty of reason to believe Barnes will step in and fill this role seamlessly. He is a tough, capable athlete with functional arm strength and talent. The biggest thing for me, at least when watching tape, is that the moment didn’t look too big for him when his team needed him. With a full offseason of QB1 development, we should see more of a finished product in 2026.
