Landen jumped out from the crowd once we started the 1 vs 1 battles against DBs. The 6’2″ 204 lbs senior made several of the best deep ball throws that I saw from the day. Landen was able to reach every bit of the field with ease. He could hit his WR in stride 40 yards downfield. It was one thing to see the ball jump out of his hand the way it did. The more impressive thing was that even when he really stepped into it, Landen was able to place the ball with pinpoint accuracy. Mickelson was my favorite deep ball thrower of the day. I highly recommend checking out the senior more in depth.

Landen was a first look prospect in a live evaluation to my radar, and was one that showed off some balance with his throwing ability in my eyes. I thought regardless of the route he was throwing in Grand Forks, Landen showed off solid poise with his arm strength and showed persistence rep after rep as a QB prospect that got better from start to finish into from Indy Drills to completion of 1v1s. Landen shows off a plethora of that consistency on tape, as I thought he’s grown a handful since his 2022 season with his ball precision while leading his wide receiver with smoother technique at UND. Certainly showed off he is a QB that needs to be on more college radars from his showing in Grand Forks. Twitter

The second part of the dynamic St. Agnes duo, the Aggies‘ offense will be spearheaded by 6’2, 200 lb. QB Landen Mickelson, who earned an All-District nod in 2022 and is also a standout member of the school’s baseball team. Mickelson posted 1,430 passing yards and 22 TDs in 2022, and oh my gosh you have to check out the truck stick he lays on a Breck defender in the third or fourth play of his highlights. He sent that kid FLYING and continues in the rest of his tape with strong-armed deep shots, accurate throws on the move, and excellent maneuverability inside the pocket. Athletic dual-threat with a physical edge is my kind of QB. Mickelson visited UND earlier this month and has also received recruiting graphics from UW-River Falls, Crown College, Augustana, NDSU, MSU-Mankato, UW-Stout, and Winona State.
