Smith is a versatile athlete with a great 6’2” 190 lb. frame and high caliber track level speed, runs a 10.58 100m. That speed translates well to the field shows he can impact the game as a ball carrier, receiver, or on the defensive side at DB. He’s a legit scoring threat every time he touches the ball given his elusiveness and ability to outrun the angle of any defender in pursuit. As a ball carrier, he shows good vision to find the crease and slip through tight spaces and is able to hit top speed within several strides once in the open field. Shows strong hands catching the ball out of the backfield and is able to take short level routes for big gains by following his blocks and making quick cuts working to space. Holds an offer from San Diego State but that speed will result in more recruiting attention as he showcases his ability.
