Garner caught my attention from the jump tying for fifth in the pro shuttle with a time of 4.47. My attention stayed on him as I watched how fluid he looked in the indy portion. Kodi has an unbelievable amount of wiggle to his game. Watching him put defenders in a blender was almost like poetry in motion. He also showed the ability to be a really good pass catcher coming out of the backfield, running crisp routes and catching the ball away from his body. Having that skill in his bag as a running back will help blow up his recruiting as he gets older and continues to improve.

Garner is a running back who brings change of direction and elusiveness to the table. Can catch the ball out of the backfield. Makes guys miss at the second level with his cuts and speed. Might be best utilized as a receiver out of the backfield at this stage with his natural hands and ability to make things happen in the open field.
