Walden earned Special Teams MVP honors after putting together one of the most impressive kicking performances I have ever seen from an 8th grader. Possessing phenomenal leg strength and pinpoint accuracy, Walden was nearly automatic, connecting on field goals from 21 and 30 yards, finishing 3-of-4 on PAT attempts, and recording two touchbacks on kickoffs. His biggest statement came after an excessive celebration penalty forced Kentucky to kick off from its own 25-yard line. Unfazed, Walden unleashed a booming 75-yard kickoff that still resulted in a touchback, showcasing elite power that few players at any level possess.
