Reed put himself firmly on the map as a player to watch for being breakout candidate with his sophomore season of 2025. The ADM linebacker/running back collected 19.0 tackles, 18 of which were solo stops. He made the most of his opportunities on offense, carrying six times for 32 yards. Reed averaged 16.3 yards on four kick returns. He provides evidence as to how the job gets done on the field during his 10th-grade highlight video. The first clip features him breaking off a long run after taking a handoff up the middle. He picks his way through the defense, makes a few guys miss and runs over a defender or two. On Clip 2, Reed pops a long kick return, flashing quick cuts, burst and fast decisions. The film doesn’t contain footage of Reed lining up on defense, but the traits needed to succeed on that side of the ball are present when watching him carry the ball or return kicks.
