Tivao checks into our rankings update as a top prospect at the position and is another violent hitter that fly’s around and makes plays outside the tackles. He has a nose for the ball and can cover downfield with fluid hips and natural ball skills at the POA. In the run game, he can come up and set the edge, run through blockers full speed and is not afraid to knife into the backfield and make plays behind the line in the box. A very fast and explosive defender that is a plus athlete with still three years left, he should be drawing no shortage of FBS attention over the next 12 months.

Tivao is one of the top linebackers in this class and a violent hitter with a big time motor and athletic mold. He has natural instinct’s and is a excellent open field tackler that takes proper angles, closes quickly and packs a punch at the POA. He can evade blockers underneath or punch through and can apply pressure from the second level with well timed pressures and has twitch and pass rush abilities. He is seemingly always around the ball and a no-brainer P4 prospect by the time his career comes to a close and should be closing in on his first offer sooner rather than later.
