White has been one of the most impressive defensive players in the area this season. He plays with fire, operates at full speed and displays tremendous closing ability when pursuing the football.
One of White’s best traits is his tackling. He consistently finishes plays in space and in one-on-one situations, preventing potential explosive gains. Near the line of scrimmage, he uses his initial burst to shoot gaps, set the edge and maintain outside containment. He also moves well in coverage, keeping his head on a swivel and reacting with few false steps.
White’s nonstop activity and quick processing have resulted in numerous stops that could have become big plays for the opposition. He has recorded 43 tackles, 7 TFLs and a sack this season, establishing himself as a high-motor defender who cannot be ignored.
