Kemper is already starting to separate himself physically, standing at 6’2 and showing early traits that translate well to the defensive end position on his middle school film. His size alone creates an immediate presence, but it’s the way he plays that makes him intriguing at this stage.

At defensive end, Kemper shows a strong initial burst off the line and plays with noticeable effort in pursuit. He’s active with his hands when engaging blockers and continues to fight through contact rather than getting stuck on blocks. That competitiveness shows up consistently in his reps.

On film, he flashes the ability to set the edge and chase plays down from the backside, which is a positive indicator for his motor and awareness. There’s still development needed in refining technique and leverage, but the foundation is clearly there.
