Loggins is an explosive, fairly raw athlete, but when he gets the ball in his hands, he can do some work. The West Side staff told me about him as an 8th grader and were excited to get him to the Varsity level, and they’ve used him since day 1. 30 tackles, 8 TFLs, 3 sacks, in on 3 fumbles, with 254 rushing yards and 5 TDs, Loggins broke out in year 2, but even then this is the tip of the iceberg for the DB/RB.

The only freshman to letter for West Side this year, big things could be coming for Loggins down the road. He got his feet wet on both sides of the ball this year as well. He’s got soft hands and can guide the ball in through contact. He’s able to get open in intermediate routes and can change direction as well as anyone else on the field. Defensively, he’s fairly aggressive and seems to be his calling. He’s violent when he’s attacking the ball and has no issue coming up in run support. He’ll go for the strip and try getting the ball out if it’s not tucked away properly. Defensively, Loggins put up 24 tackles, 2 PBU’s, a forced fumble, and scored his first offensive touchdown. Loggins is a talented young player who I think could really blossom into a reliable piece for West Side and a gem for the right program when he graduates.
