About Kaleb
Expert Analysis
Josh White | Prep Redzone Scout
Young was arguably the most nuanced pass rusher at the camp. His hand usage consistently separated him from the field, showing efficient rip, pull, and swim moves while attacking blockers with a calculated approach rather than relying purely on athleticism. He understood how to set up rushes.
His burst off the snap and quick first step repeatedly created early advantages, but what made him dangerous was how he manipulated balance. Young consistently threatened inside and outside leverage, forcing offensive linemen into uncomfortable recovery situations before countering cleanly.
There was polish to his pass-rush plan that stood out throughout the showcase. Between the burst, hand play, and overall feel for rushing the passer, Young looked like one of the more advanced edge defenders in attendance.
