Morrow was actually a late bump in the rankings, only moving up on the back end of our database when I did a deep dive on some 2025 tight ends in early June. However, the film shows he’s one of the best in the state. Apex doesn’t ask much of him from a route running perspective, but he consistently finds the soft spot against the zone and is extremely athletic. He’ll need to work on some in-line blocking, but he has a high motor, good speed and great hands.

Morrow has great size and physicality. A 2-way player, his highest upside is at tight end whenere he’s able to use his size to explode off the line, both as an in-line tight end and slot receiver. He high points the ball well and shield defenders across the middle. He’s highly athletic and a willing blocker, something that will endear him to college coaches.

With 30 receptions, 382 yards, and 2 touchdowns in his junior season at Apex High School, he’s proven himself as a reliable offensive force poised to lead his team as a senior. Standing at 6’6″ and weighing 235 pounds, Kaleb possesses the size, agility, and hands to exploit defensive mismatches effectively. Additionally, his impact extends to the defensive side, where he’s demonstrated disruptive prowess as a first-year defensive end, tallying 15 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks. With his dynamic abilities, Kaleb is positioned as a standout player in the Southeast Wake Conference, primed to make a significant impact at the collegiate level.
