Harris, a Texas State commit, showed he’s a true power back, consistently driving through contact and gaining tough yards. He runs with low pad level, doesn’t shy away from defenders, and has the strength to finish runs while keeping his legs churning, making him a reliable weapon in the backfield.
Harris is an electric, versatile back who is not spoken of enough on the national scale. The rising senior is a smaller-framed back with intense twitch, great burst through the line of scrimmage, and the top-end speed to finish runs into the end zone. Harris also displays loose hips that allow for great lateral change of direction, along with surprisingly good contact balance. Harris is a dynamic threat in the run, pass, and return game, which led to over 2,000 total yards and 20 touchdowns in 2024. I expect Harris to keep building his frame, thus improving the already impressive physicality of his running ability. This will lead to a monster 2025 season that will build upon his offer list, which already includes Baylor, SMU, and Oregon State.
A compact, explosive runner at 5-foot-9, 175 pounds, Harris totaled 2,085 all-purpose yards and 20 touchdowns in 2024, including three kick return scores. He holds offers from SMU, Baylor, Kansas, Tulsa, and UTSA.
Harris is electric with the football in his hands. He is phonebooth quick, has the ability to change directions without making false steps and when he gets in the open field, he has the speed to get in the end zone from any distance. In a win over Keller, Harris had 263 all-purpose yards and a touchdown. The Trojans are 6-1 on the season and Harris has been a force out of the backfield for Trinity as they get ready for the playoffs. Harris is an explosive playmaker who can strike quickly, making him one of the best offensive threats in the state in the 2026 class. He has offers from SMU, Tulsa, Arkansas Pine Bluff, Stephen F. Austin, Baylor and Midwestern State.
