Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
A consistent defender south of Atlanta fresh off a really productive senior season, Tyler may not be the biggest or fastest linebacker in the 2026 class, but he showed strong instincts and gave max-effort on every play. He showed good hustle and pursuit of the ball-carrier and knows how to make a secure tackle in the open field. The McDonough native made 68 tackles this season along with eight tackles behind the line of scrimmage. He’s also ranked as the No. 79 overall linebacker in the state according to the newest 2026 Prep Redzone rankings.

A metro-Atlanta linebacker with impressive instincts and the ability to make a strong tackle, the McDonough native may not be the biggest or fastest linebacker in the 2026 class, but he consistently puts himself in a position to find the ball-carrier and get him off the ground. He’s off to a terrific start to his senior season, making an impressive 25 tackles through his first two games. He made 8 tackles in week one and was all over the field in week two, making 17 tackles during win over Union Grove.
