He’s a strong athlete who can also make big plays on special teams as a returner. He’s one of the top returning defensive backs in the region and is currently ranked as the No. 152 overall prospect in the state. This is a giant pickup for the local Panthers, landing a really impressive player from Dekalb County.

Another do-it-all prospect who deserves more recognition, Horne is one of the top returning 2027 three-way athletes in Dekalb County who is coming off an outstanding sophomore season on offense. As a receiver, he brings above-average speed, burst, and plays bigger than his 5-foot-10 175-pound frame. He can break tackles after the catch with a strong feel for the position. Horne caught 31 passes as a sophomore last season for 446 yards and two touchdowns with a chance to have a “breakout” season in 2025.

He shows reliable hands, can pick up yards after the catch, and is one of the top returning 2027 wide receivers in the area. He finished his sophomore season with 31 catches for 446 yards and two touchdowns, but those numbers should increase in a big way next fall as a junior.
