About Joshua

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My play style is a athletic, versatile and physical two way football player with high football iq. I would also consider my self as an ballhawk because i am excellent at tracking the ball but i am also a hard hitter.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

First my mentality and the motto i go by is HUMBLE but HUNGRY. My personality is a smart, joyful funny , non-selfish person who is always willing to lend a hand if it is needed. I tend to inspire and uplift people who think they cant do something.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am not in any clubs or organization but i have recived a non port award of International Baccalaureate student certificate and completing the tabbaco ambassodor program.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My communication is amazing on and off the field, i have talked my friend out of commting suicde. Decision Making is a huge part of who i am today by seperating my self from people who don't matter and not helping to what i am trying to accomplish. My community serivce is great because i love helping and giving back to them not excpeting anything in return .

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have face plenty of adversity One example is my friend who was about to kill himself and i didnt know what to do but i talked to him and calmed him down until people arrived to his location. Another example is my 10th grade school year when i didnt make grades to ply football my sophmore year i wasnt depreesed but i was sad and felt like not trying to work hard again but i prayed and god helped

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open to any college except an all boys college. I would love to attend a big university but i wouldnt mind the small ones either. I want to go to school at a place i feel like home and where i can bond with my coaches , teamates and classmates like there family.

Joshua is a player I have seen a couple times this spring/summer and I continue to be impressed with his play every time. A physical DB with great length, Joshua is strong in press man coverage. He has a powerful jam at the LOS, rides the receivers hip, and knows how to use the sideline to run the WR wide. This throws off the route and timing of the WR and QB. A do it all athlete for Central, Joshua played QB/WR/CB/S and is also plays on the basketball team. He plays fast and shows smooth hips with ability to quickly burst to the ball. Not afraid of any contact either, Joshua can run the alley and lay a strong hit on the ball carrier. With his size, length, and toughness I like Joshua as a rangy S but can see him as a CB as well in the right system. He is an offer prospect to me and should be getting more interest from college coaches.
