An explosive back from Calhoun who was incredibly to to corral for opposing defenders last year, Cruz used his breakaway speed, excellent change of direction, and natural vision to fly through defenses on a consistent basis last fall as a junior. The elusive runner ran for 1,020 yards and seven touchdowns last season with the potential to have a massive final season later this year. Cruz will be an easy addition to the next 2026 rankings update and is one of the best returning backs in the area for next season.
