Every year, even with a staff of seven, we get to this point of the calendar and ask ourselves “How did this kid get past us?” Yeah, that’s Boyd. The Griffins’ receiver has a top-end speed that he uses to chase down what should be uncatchable passes or ditch defenders and possesses a tailback’s mindset when he’s got the ball in traffic.
What pushes him over the top is how well he runs a variety of sweeps. He finds holes, and when he’s near the sideline, he’s instinctively switching the ball to his outer arm. We think 2025 is going to be huge for him.
